Protur Hotels presents PROTUR CHEF, the second national cooking school competition to be held from 15th to 18th March at the Protur Biomar Gran Hotel & Spa in Sa Coma, Mallorca.

This is a very exciting event where the best recipes of the most promising Spanish chefs will be on offer, as well as a gastronomic competition,

There will also be a second competition for children PROTUR CHEF KIDS.

The event will also have other parallel activities such as a gastronomic market with stands, workshops, tastings, food trucks... and Michelin-starred chefs.

Cuixot de Porc Negre will participate with a stand and you will be able to taste our products and buy them. You will find our porc negre ham, porc negre loin, porc negre sausage and porc negre chorizo Mallorquin.

We are waiting for you to taste our Mallorcan black pig products and to share this wonderful event with us.

The timetable for the PROTUR CHEF competition is as follows:

15/03/18: Drawing of the semi-finals timetable. At 19:00 hours

16/03/18: First semi-final 6 contestants at 16:00 hrs.

17/03/18: First semi-final 9 contestants KIDS at 10:00 am.

17/03/18: Second semi-final 6 contestants at 11:00 a.m.

17/03/18: Second semi-final 9 KIDS contestants at 15:00.

17/03/18: Third semi-final 6 contestants at 16:00.

18/03/18: Final with the 6 best KIDS contestants at 10:00 a.m.

18/03/18: Final with the 6 best contestants at 11:00 a.m.

18/03/18: Prize-giving ceremony for adults and kids at 13:30 hours.

PROTUR CHEF has an exceptional jury with the participation of distinguished chefs such as Tomeu Caldentey, Marc Fosh, Marga Coll, Silvia Anglada, Paco Roncero, Toni Tugores (gastronomic critic)... and a long etc. ... They will have the complicated mission of critiquing each dish and selecting the best creations of the contestants at each moment.
Koldo Royo, who will be the host of the competition, will also be in attendance.

In addition to the PROTUR CHEF and PROTUR CHEF KIDS competitions, the event will also include various parallel activities that will allow visitors to enjoy gastronomy with all kinds of relevant proposals and experiences such as workshops, tastings, samplings...
