For many, the best way to enjoy a good Iberian ham is on its own or accompanied by a little bread, but the recipes below will broaden the horizons of your refined palates.

Here are some options for all occasions.

For Breakfast: Croissant with Iberian ham, Gruyère and poached egg

The first of these recipes with Iberian ham requires ingredients that are very easy to obtain: 2 croissants, 2 tablespoons of mustard, 2 poached eggs, slices of Gruyère cheese, slices of Iberian ham, salt, pepper and olive oil.

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Then cut the croissants in half. Using a knife, spread a thin layer of mustard on the bottom of the croissant and place a slice of Gruyère cheese on top. Place the croissant in the oven to brown.

You will know it is ready when the cheese bubbles. On the other half of the croissant with the gruyer cheese, place the poached egg. The next step is to add salt and pepper to taste.

Finally, cover with a few slices of Iberian ham and add a drizzle of olive oil to taste. After that, you will have your Thousand Acorns Iberian ham, gruyere cheese and poached egg croissant ready to enjoy. A nutritious dish that will give you enough energy, thanks to its high protein content, to start the day.

Then stuff the breasts with the mixture and seal.
Place some slices of Iberian ham on a flat surface with which you will wrap the chicken breast.
Make sure to seal firmly to contain the stuffing.
Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
This dish can be accompanied with steamed vegetables and a glass of your favourite wine.

Dinner: Iberian ham salad with pomegranate, mint, almonds and brie

The third of the recipes with Iberian ham is an easy dish to prepare, but delicious and perfect for the daily diet.

Preparation:

You need mixed greens, 20 grams of toasted almonds, mint leaves, pomegranate seeds, a piece of brie cheese and slices of Iberian ham.

Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. This dish can be accompanied with steamed vegetables and a glass of your favourite wine.

Place a selection of the greens of your choice in a bowl. Mix in the pomegranate seeds, as well as oven roasted almonds. Add some mint leaves to the mixed greens.

Cut small cubes of brie cheese and add to the mixture. Let the slices of Jamón Ibérico rest and mix.
