Recipes with Iberian Ham that are very easy to prepare at home
For many, the best way to enjoy a good Iberian ham is on its own or accompanied by a little bread, but the recipes below will broaden the horizons of your refined palates.
Here are some options for all occasions.
For Breakfast: Croissant with Iberian ham, Gruyère and poached egg
The first of these recipes with Iberian ham requires ingredients that are very easy to obtain: 2 croissants, 2 tablespoons of mustard, 2 poached eggs, slices of Gruyère cheese, slices of Iberian ham, salt, pepper and olive oil.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Then cut the croissants in half. Using a knife, spread a thin layer of mustard on the bottom of the croissant and place a slice of Gruyère cheese on top. Place the croissant in the oven to brown.
You will know it is ready when the cheese bubbles. On the other half of the croissant with the gruyer cheese, place the poached egg. The next step is to add salt and pepper to taste.
Finally, cover with a few slices of Iberian ham and add a drizzle of olive oil to taste. After that, you will have your Thousand Acorns Iberian ham, gruyere cheese and poached egg croissant ready to enjoy.
